Women's Firearm Training Class
The Haralson County Sheriff’s Office regularly hosts Women’s Firearm Safety Classes. The class consists of two parts, a classroom portion on one day, and a range portion on a second day. The class segment consisted of firearms safety, firearms loading & unloading, marksmanship fundamentals, target identification and home storage of firearms. The range day consisted of live fire exercises focusing on grip, stance, sight alignment/sight picture, trigger press and breath control.
To sign up for an upcoming class, please click the link below for an application. Once you turn your application in, we will run a background check. Any qualified candidate will be put in the roster for the next available WFSC. You can submit your application by emailing haralsonsheriff@haralsoncountyga.gov or by bringing it by the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office.

If you do not have a firearm, we will need to know one week prior to the class you are in.
You will need to bring your unloaded firearm to the classroom portion, the weapons will be checked before entering the classroom.
You will need a minimum of 50 rounds of ammo for the range portion. Time permitting, there will be a chance for extra target practice should you bring additional ammunition.
You will need eye and ear protection. If you do not have any, we will have some for you to use while at the range.
