Detention Division
The Detention Division of the Haralson County Sheriff’s Office has the responsibility of accommodating individuals arrested for both felonies and misdemeanors. This includes those serving county sentences and awaiting transfer to prison. The dedicated detention staff plays a crucial role in processing admissions and releases, offering meals, ensuring the security and safety of inmates, facilitating transports to and from the facility for court, medical, or other authorized reasons, and overseeing inmate work crews.
